Tyranny Demands Resistance is an organization committed to training citizens in methods of peacefully resisting an increasingly fascist federal government.
TDR's founder, Lieutenant Colonel Bob Welzel, is a retired U.S. Marine having served in the active and reserve components. He started his military career swearing to “defend and protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic.”
When LtCol Welzel analyzed the situation it became clear that the principle reason that the Federal Government has bloated into the incredible fascist mess we see in Washington DC today is due to the unlimited access they have to money.
This is a two-fold problem. First, the Federal Government has virtually unlimited access through the fiat currency supplied by the Federal Reserve. Secondly, the executive branch maintains virtual shackles on every American through a perceived mandatory withholding program and effectively eliminates all dissension by keeping most Americans lusting after and dependent upon Federal entitlement programs.
